This workshop would aim to be both technically informative and also provide a forum for discussion about the future direction of Scope Foundry. The first half of the agenda would be instructional and technical including one session providing an overview of “How to Use Scope Foundry” for the general microscope user and one session intended for more technical users on how to develop or adapt Scope Foundry components to their specific needs, including how to contribute to the code base. The second half of the agenda would be more forward thinking, featuring talks by invited external speakers on how they are using Scope Foundry in their work outside of the Molecular Foundry as well as a discussion and brainstorming where current and potential Scope Foundry users can bring up how ScopeFoundry can be developed moving forward to best meet their needs and facilitate their research.
